I just finished watching the "Pocahontas" special edition DVD that my mum bought me for my birthday. And I was slightly wary, as they had included a brand new song in this version. I like my Disney movies the way they are, so I'm always wary of anything 'added' to them.

The new songs that were added to the "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King" DVDs worked out quite well, and I enjoy them now. But even though I knew that, I was still nervous about this one.

Normally when I watch "Pocahontas", I cry. Alot. I start crying fairly early on in the film, and just don't stop until the end.

Well.

The new song is a love song. Called, 'If I never knew you'. Both John Smith and Pocahontas sing it. And it is sad. Sad, and lovely, and it made me cry my little heart out. So by the time the movie was finished tonight, I went into the bathroom to wash my face (because I had been crying so damn much) and my face had actually turned all red and splotchy and swollen.

THAT'S HOW MUCH I WAS CRYING!

Stupid Pocahontas. I don't think I can ever watch that movie again now. It makes me too damn sad. No, that's a lie. I will watch it again. I love it far too much. It's just.. gah. It get's me so bad! They love each other SO much and so fiercely. And in the end, they can't be together. It just kills me.

Stupid me and my damn romantic heart.
